Validating feelings and experiences — reinforcing that it's okay to not be okay. Acknowledgment breaks down the stigma around mental health.

Offer encouragement; remind someone their feelings are valid and seeking help is strength.

The Initiative

Breaking the Silence

HUA takes a military call-and-response and turns it into a civilian promise. Founded by MR through MRMS and Source-Soul, the initiative uses music, film, and community to dismantle the stigma that has silenced too many for too long.
